Hi All,

If you could pick your perfect model jet, what would it be?

I am curious as to what proportion of flyers prefer classic jets (scale) to the moderm sports type.

Regards

keith

Do you mean Sports models or Scale?
Best all around would be a CARF Hawk...sports model that looks like a scale jet

Any F-16. Very maneuverable, decent speed, sleek looking and very docile.

Really? I'd want something that the gear didn't fall out of on landing, the covering didn't fall off of and generally didn't require large amounts of maintenance. It's neither a scale jet nor a particularly good sport jet but I suspect your plugging it simply because you sell it?

That's right I do sell Tornados because I like them. Nice and easy jet hack. Keith asked for our Personnal choices. That's my choice and within my budget. Btw nothing wrong with springair retracts if fitted correctly, at least they come back down if the air runs out, and film covering is always liable to lifting especially if the model is left in the sun.

For this being my first jet, I like the Pirotti Models "Tuono". This model has performed as I expected. I see this jet as a great sport jet. What I like most, is 61 flights up to now, and I have not had to do anything to this model but getting jet flight time under my belt. It is a winner.

A perfect model jet doesn´t exist, like anything made by man.

There are just a bunch of good models.. what makes them "perfect" for each one of us depends on what characteristic we consider important. The funny thing is that sometimes what we consider important is not what we need!

IMO the closer thing to a "perfect" jet is the one that you would like to fly a lot of times. And this can be a baby Boomerang, a Kangaroo or a tomahawk L-39.

I'm hoping my BVM F-100 becomes the one jet to rule them all.

Since 1993 i built & flight RC-turbine jets and they are a lot. (3 different SU 27, Tiger F5, F-20 Tigershark, F-14 Tomcat, F-4 Phantom, BVM-Argessor, BVM-Viper, Wildhornet, Pampa,  BAE Hawk, Aermacchi, F/A 18, Mirage 2000, BVM-100)

The BVM F-100 Super Sabre is my absoulte favorite: perfect size (transportable/handling) great look, best flight quality & a great pleasure in landing pattern. Thats my reason to built a secound.

Best regards from Switzerland, Rainer Willisch

My goal is the maiden next spring. Scale details, rivetings and weathering should be made after the first flights step by step.
I'm pleased to build & fly this amazing fighter jet.

by the way: i will report the built, roll out and maiden.
