I know there were issues or something with the early versions of the technology. What is the scoop? Would it be safe to buy an older 9303 or 10X or something? Just curious...

It's fine. Unless you are going to be flying in areas of extremely high bandwidth saturation (Joe Nall, IRCHA), then you should be fine. Even then, it's not a death warrant, but there is a little more security to the frequency agile systems in those environments.

What is going on with JR? I've heard rumors of JR switching away from the DSM2 (Spektrum) to something else. What will happent to support for existing JR? Will there be conversions available if the newer stuff is different/better? I've seen nothing in any of the on-line or published info.

Unless they bin that Darth Vader inspired designer, my 10X will be my last JR regardless of technology.

I am about ready to update from my 2.4 JR X9303, etc. What is up now ? I have the original 2.4 - 9 chl, with the red case rx, and now a few R7000's, and two new 9 chl rx's, about a year old, not out of box yet. Was planning on new TX, etc.

Wait on some new technology here from JR ? All of my JR equipment has worked great, only one incident when using 4.8V rx battery's, before going to all 6V, and that was when the 2.4 radios were new. Any recommendations from those in the know ? Would like to know before handing over the dough. I don't want to switch brands, too much JR product here.

Thanks
Vince

Joe,

9303 & 10X 72MHz?

DMSS (Dual Modulation Spectrum System. Not compatible with DSM or DSMX) module/rx combo is already out. It shows 12X module version (12XMV), 9303 and 8103 to be compatible.
Not sure why it only lists three transmitters. No manual available.

I am planning on XG11 from current DSM2 9303 which I've been using since it came out. absolutely 0 problem so far. Programmed at least 50 planes on it.

What radio are you using right now?

Ihncheol

 Hello,
I'm using the XG8 since the beginning of the year with no problem on my pattern plane and on a carbon Z yak 54. Very light receiver and more than 200 flights this year. The display screen show 34 hours of operation.
It's my first JR and i like it.

Seb
