Guys,
I recently bought for a desent price a Piper Cub which needed some work.

I decided to strip off the covering, cover the exposed areas on the wing and fuselage with 1.5mm balsa sheets and fiberglass it, so as to finally, paint it!

Here are the first steps.

And here is what I use as a putty to cover small holes or other areas on the balsa.

As you see I used a tiny amount of water to thin the putty so as to penetrate into the difficult areas more easily.
