Well Frank has now pointed out that I have now gone from a 42% Yak to a 41 inch Edge. Is there something wrong with that picture??? NOPE!!!!

Surprised you guys stayed for both days-thought your original plans were for Sat. only. Maybe on future cold nights Frank will let you sleep with him in his sleeping bag.

I didn't get notified of this horrendous post! I don't think that is going to happen Jack. Jim will just have to thaw out in the morning sun. LOL

Jim's new Edge reminds me of the little Edge "Doc" flew at Sykeston last year. It was a real good flying plane.

Last yr or last week. This is the same one as his, but for servos and motor..

Man with friends like Frank??? He blames me for his elev coming off and there isn't no telling what else.

But on another note, there is a Seagull Ultimate in my trailer waiting for motor and radio gear. Dle 20 may have found a home!!!!!!!!

Back from Hopkinsville...man what an awesome weekend.

Jim, don't worry...I've got your back.  Those of us who were there know you had nothing to do with Frank's elevator half coming loose...it was all Paul's fault.  (Nice save, Frank!)

Couldn't have asked for much better weather or company...great time around the campfire last night, great weather for camping, and lots of flying got done with no major incidents!

Best part of the weekend, though (for me, anyway)...heck...best part of the SEASON...was my son Alex got his first solo in this morning on our Senior Telemaster!

Don't remember when I've been prouder of him.  He's been a joy to have along at the field this season, never heard a word of complaint from him...he just took his flying time where he could get it, worked hard, and made his goal of "solo this season" on what's probably the last trip of the year.

Yea that was great seeing Alex get his maiden in today. Quite the accomplishment for both Dad and Son!! One of those moments you'll never forget. Way to go Alex!

Here's a pic of the flight line at Mac's this weekend. The weather was perfect for flying, camping, and bs'ing around the campfire.

You know Frank, the weather up here has been great. Right now it's like 68 and sunny. I'm loving the weather. Big issue I face is that the "airport" where I'm at is an old military base with not much of anything but clear skies for miles. The tower isn't even operational so I could be out there flying my tail off and yet I'm stuck working! Now THAT bites!

Certainly is a nice truck to say the least but I'm curious...........instead of hooking and un-hooking the trailer all the time, why not just stick it in the bed of the truck and leave it there.......all done.
