Status: offline 		Hello race fans, welcome to the SEMPRA season opener pylon race in Mulberry Florida! We will have open practice for all classes on Friday, for all event pilots to turn laps on the AMA course in preparation for the weekend. Saturday we will race SEMPRA 424 (same event as AMA 424, except maximum rpm of 17,000 with the APC 9x6 prop) and AMA 426 Super Sport Quickie both on the AMA Short course. After the races and the plaques are awarded, we will extend turn 1 to the AMA Long course for practice for Sunday. Sunday we will race SEMPRA 424 & AMA 422 Quarter 40 both on the AMA Long course. All 4 events (424 short, 424 long, 426 & 422) are all separate events and have their own awards. We will award 1st ~ 3rd & Fast Time in each event. 424 will have standard & expert pilots in a combined matrix, but plaques will be awarded to the standard 424 pilots only. Experts, you will only get national points for 424.

Saturday night we will be doing a steak dinner at the field again, so you can avoid having to clean up for dinner and can stay to practice and enjoy the evening with your buds. And speaking of Buds, adult beverages for non-flying pilots or pilots who are thru flying for the day only!

Status: offline 		Well, the final count down is on!! The weather prediction is for light wind, low 80's during the day and low 60's overnight. If that holds true, it should be a beautiful weekend to begin the SEMPRA 2013 racing season.
