Do you need throttle trim on your transmitter or does it just complicate the setup ?
After watching a flyer screw up a setup with a heli, I started to wonder if it is easier to
inhibit the throttle trim.
The throws are set using the servo travel for full throttle range.
Mechanically set for mid throttle - mid stick. The throttle curve can be displaced for
adjusting idle speed.
Hold speed is set on throttle hold and cut is also radio set.
Do I need throttle trim ? Don't use it when I fly !

Some folks use it to adjust the idle, and it only effects the lower portion of throttle range, it doesn't effect centering.

Also, in normal mode I usuall crank in a bit of throttle trim for a higher idle to keep the engine from going all the way back to idle during descents
