The Cloud Kings RC Club invites you to Octoberfest on October 6, 2012. We are planning on lots of flying and judging for VR/CS Concours, Sam Concours, Pilots Choice Award and Peoples Choice Award. See the attached information flyer for more information.

Did you get a room there? If you didn't, check the Brandywine Valley link I included on the information sheet. There's Newark, DE and a hotel in Longwood, PA. That one is about 20 miles or so from the field.

I booked Nottingham Inn, I think they re-modeled a couple of years ago?

They haven't touched it yet. Only thing done was the restaurant, it's not large enough to do the banquet so we go the the golf club. Saw they had golf eggs on the menu.

Hmmm. Decisions, decisions. The Nottingham is the closest, but it is spartan, to say the least. But, at $85/nite, it is a lot more attractive than the $140-180 other places available.Hey, a bed is a bed.

A weather update for October 6 looks to be a winner with partly cloudy skies and temps in the high 60's to low 70's. I have yet to get wind information. For the Saturday evening dinner (Wyncote Golf Club), I indicated about 20 guests attending but I would like an indication of who and how many are coming to dinner. See you in Oxford!
