Status: offline 		Rice Area Modelers Society started gearing up for our annual Cajun Nats pattern contest. Contest starts Saturday Oct 20th and runs thru the 21st. Field will be open for practice Friday the 19th. We have aquired a few sponsors this year and have some nice trophies, will be giving away prepaid VISA cards to entered pilots as door prises, and have 2 great meals included in the entry for pilots and their imediate families. Friday night supper and the Saturday night banquet. Lots of crawfish, catfish, and cajun sasuage. We will have concessions available at the field. Plenty of room for campers at the field, but all primative, no hook ups. See Attached flyer file.

The friday night menu is Catfish Coubillion. Saturday night menu is Fried Catfish with Crawfish Etoufee on top.

We will be flying the 2012 sequences.

Great to see you guy's from D3 coming. I was planning to go to the Niceville contest, but the wife has me going to the neighbor's daughters wedding that weekend. Definently will be there next year though.

Guys Listen, Been doing this a long time,this is the one contest you really have to make.Laid back ,relaxed, Good Flying,top knotch Fliers, great cooking and good Friends. The Weather is always perfect.

The real solution is you need to move closer to Cajun country, so it won't be such a long trip.

Hamburgers
Sasuage PoBoys
Natchitoches meat pies
Curly potato fries
Curly sweet potato fries
Chips
Drinks
Cookies & baked Sweets

Plus we will have complimentry Kolaches, donuts, and coffee Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Entry fee includes Friday night and Saturday night dinners for the pilot and his or her immediate family.

The Rice Festival is this weekend in Crowley so if you have trouble finding hotel rooms in Crowley, there are hotels in Rayne (approximately 7 miles away), in Scott (approximately 15 miles away) and in Lafayette (approximately 20 miles away) all along Interstate 10 with easy access.

I think Dean's purchase put the jinx on Earl's other Axial.... Awesome job though on Earl's part...landing with only half a left wing panel!
