Just a reminder the Bud Garric Memorial Pattern Contest at Sacramento SAM field is coming up October 6-7.

This is a late season contest that you don't want to miss. Each year there is something new/different and weather is typically great this time of year in Northern Calif. Last year there was a BBQ at the field Saturday evening with live music. It was beautiful weather and a fantastic evening. Wonder what Frank and Bob are cooking up this year?

Frank Capone (CD) asked me to notify everyone they intend to include Classic Pattern in the contest this year since we all had so much fun with it at the Hollister Bob Whitacre contest last weekend.

This is truly a "do not miss" contest! Frank and Bob seem to outdo themselves every year. I will have my Angel there for AMA and my "screamin P7" for Classic! There is also usually some night flying so if you got one of those bring it also!

The last Nor Cal contest is history. Clear sky, temperature was low 80, wind around 5mph, couldn't be better!
25 pilots, no mis-shape. CD Frank "Finger" Capone and co-CD Bob "Iffy" Obregon did a great job again! I will leave details to Jon. Results are:

Lots of action in Classic Pattern. It would be great to have you guys down south mid- November for the (proposed) classic only contest. We are short of participants, and need some more bodies to make it happen.
