Does anyone know anything about the Himoto Centro?

I'm just looking for something dirt cheap to run around in the flat, and maybe now and then up and down the road or at the park... The Centros here are being sold dirt cheap.. I think I'd get one - just want to hear they're not junk first..

Or would a HPI Mini Recon be better? Something else?

Not spending Traxxas 1/16 money, and the Losi micros are too small.. I had the brushless MERV and the 1/24 SC, and wasn't thrilled.. The Losi 24th scale truggy does look better than the SC, so I guess I would consider it..

Just want cheap, reliable, tough, and reasonably fast. Don't want to have to invest in tons of upgrades..(cough... Traxxas... cough..) Not gonna' be going nuts with lipos or be doing any big bashing..

Can get the Centro für €80 shipped, the Mini Recon probably for €120ish, and the Losi 1/24 truggy for €115 shipped...

Thanks.

The mini recon is a total pile. I know nothing about the others.

Did you see my thread for you in the buggy forum by the way? Be grateful for your opinion please...

Really? Why is it a pile?

For starters I probably won't even be running lipo btw..

Just take a look at one up close and personal, you'll see straight away what I mean. The plastic is made of eggshell and the drivetrain made of chocolate. Steer clear, I couldn't believe it was HPI the first time I saw it in the LHS.
