You can modify the test bench for MW44 too, the scale handles up to 5kg of thrust. works with up to 90mm EDF too. Email hab@hab.se for more info.

Had to put 5 oz  (125 g) of lead in the very nose of mine to get it to balance. I had also put the P20 quite a way forward. The problem is the tail on this plane is quite heavy. I will weigh the all up dry weight in a moment

Just put her on her wheels and it is obvious that the CG in the manual looks wrong as it is very bouncy on the nose. I just read the trread on this plane on RC Groups and it says the cg should be 60 mm back at 240 mm and not as the manual which says 80 mm back at 240 mm. I thorefore opened up the nose from the bottom at the very front and put in another 110g of lead and that has done the trick. All I need now is some good weather

Just weighed it and the all up dry weight with the header empty and no fuel but everything else included is 3.2 kg which is 7 Lbs. I am quite pleased at this weight the EDF Boys seem to be comming in over 8lbs.

I recon with the amount of wing area that the L59 has she should fly well with a P20 (5.2 lbs of thrust)

So you have a total of 235g in the nose.I have 180g in the nose,i left the cg on 80mm and the plane is perfectly balanced.
The plane has a  weight of 3370g which i believe is very good.

That EDF weight of 8Lb is probably with batteries as you have said your 7Lb weight is with no fuel on board, so possibly you are coming out at the same weight near enough.

I don't know though I have certainly lost a battery in flight from my EDF Habu, so it was lighter when it arrived. LOL

I don't think so...the wing has serious damageσ so if i try to fix i will add weight and i don't want to.

So the solution is easy....i ordered two new kits from Hobbyking!

If it helps my 8S5000 powered EDF version is 3.2kg AUW. Not flown yet. Waiting for a fan. Just in case you haven't read the RCG thread most important mod is the reinforce the area around the mounts for the mains LG with carbon cloth. Several have landed and the retract punch straight through the wing.

Got the kit today, I have had a look at the wing retract mounts they seem quite well braced there is a ply mount with a quadrant brace under the ply, has this been added since earlier models ? ,Not too sure about a lot of the formers in the fuz they look like they need Hysol reinforcement. Overall though. it looks like it will make a very nice model with a bit of tlc.need to get a thrust pipe sorted next,I think the P20 will sit quite a way forward to get the c of g, looks like the tank will sit nicely on the c of g, plenty of room for that
