None of this insurance stuff has anything to do with the original question;

Does AMA require US citizenship?

Simple answer is NO!

Does anyone know of any illegal alien migrant farm workers that are flying model airplanes in their spare time while intoxicated and smoking pot?

2 years ago, sitting behind a line of 5 cars at dusk (all lights on, people on their breaks, lot of light. A chick (most likely texting, her phone was found on the floor of her car) never saw us, she just run into our car, making it much shorter I must say.

She had insurance, so all was processed under her insurance (I chain hit the cars in front). If she would not have insurance, mine would have picked up. Never found ut if she was ilegal, but she was a moron, that is for sure...

3 years ago my wife was sitting on a road, blinking left to turn into our neighborhood when a guy got distracted with the radio. He saw my wife at the last moment, and managed to only hit the right rear area of the car, and smashed into a light post. His engine ended next to him on the seat.

You understand that I am weary of distracted drivers:-) Cellular phones are a Godsend for body shops and hospitals...

If you know of anyone, find out the name of the club, might be fun to visit:-) A

fun fly would acquire a entirely different meaning:-) If someone yells out: I am flaying high! he would really, really mean it...

I live on the Border with Mexico... we have Mexican Nationals (Citizens) come across all the time to fly at our field. Most recent was a Father and Son team, each paid $100 initiation fee, and $200.00 per year each, ($600.00 for 1 year) plus AMA dues. We also held an F3A pattern event and had 10 to 15 entries from Mexico as well....

Ciizenship papers not needed, and it is a real hassle bringing 2 or 3 RC airplanes across the border, trust me.

Put it to rest and move on, not everyone is an Arizona resident.

Go fly something, that's why we are in this hobby.

Nothing to update. The answer two years ago was NO, and nothing has changed since then so the answer is still NO! I'd be willing to bet that if you ask again in 2014 the answer will still be NO!

Frank
