The competitors and Todays winners. Added the timing crew.  Sorry I don't have all the names.

Well the Georgetown race is in the books and it was a resounding success. First and foremost I want to thank our club workers; they did a great job and without them we could not have a race. The weather was beautiful, bla, bla bla. You had to be here to enjoy it.

How for the details:
Place Points Best Time
1 Jeff Large 22 1:30.15
2 Bob Petrinec 17 1:30.69
3 Randy Kendzior 17 1:36.80
4 Gary Fisher 16 1:24.91 **
5 Eric DeSardi 16 1:26.91
6 Steve Blackwell 14 1:29.85
7 Charles Krimpin 13 1:38.13
8 GC Dimit 12 1:38.12
9 Richard Moll 11 1:27.93
10 Ken Hopson 10 1:28.84
11Steven Fabianke 9 1:29.78
12 Jerry Hellums 8 1:28.91
13 James Smola 8 1:44.47
14 Johnny Rodrigues 6 1:45.63
15 Tylor King 0 0

As you can see from the times we had some very tight racing. This resulted in three or four mid-airs and some unwanted encounters with the ground.
See y’all at the next race.

Bob

More pictures from Georgetown's Club 40 pylon race Saturday 11/17/2012 and last race for the pionts race. Jason Oliver couldn't make it but finished 3rd over all in pionts in the standings.

Skully; 4 wins equals 16; one double cur equals zero, and one mid-air (DNF) equals zero.
16+0+0=16

Eric, I had 2 double cuts and that was what I ended up with 16 points! It took me out of play!

It’s not the judge’s responsibility to inform you that you had 1 or 2 cuts! It is there responsibility to make sure it is recorded so it can go into the computer, The gentleman behind us had the radio and I could here every time I cut!
The judge's at the table did a very good job we didn't need to run any heat over and the cut judge's did a fine job if they said we cut then we cut!

Nope I'm not buying that one. I knew the gentleman was standing behind us telling us we had cuts. I was NEVER informed of a cut. I was never told to go hi out of the racing lanes. Lets call on Richard Moll, he was my caller all day.

Skully, the gentleman with the walki-talki was not calling out the cuts. I could only hear them when they were announced over it.
Even after hearing the first cut called, I still managed to get another in TWO races for two DNFs.
He never called out the cuts, but at least I could hear them
