I ordered a decent amount of wood from Lonestar last week, and according to their website, is has not yet shipped.

Is that fairly normal, or should I be calling & asking what's up?

Thanks

LoneStar has always had a good reputation.   This is only a guess, but if you ordered a large amount,   they may be cutting balsa for your order.  They are pretty particular about their reputation and the quality of their wood going out the door.

If you have any questions, feel free to call them,  they are good people.

I think that I usually get delivery about two weeks after my orders are placed....I'm on the left coast. That works for me, I 've never had a problem with them.

The last two times I went into Lonestar (most recently about 2 months ago) there were only two people working there. One is the owner, Riley Wooten's son, Jim I think, and a guy out in the shop cutting the wood. Last time I went in, only the guy cutting the wood was in, he said take what you need write it down and leave it on the desk with your phone number and 'jim" (again I think that was the name) will give you a call when he gets back in the office. Well, he called me about 2 weeks later and I completed the payment for the balsa. My point is, I think they are busy, and a little disorganized, but they are good people and probably are just a "little behind".
