Status: offline 		I bought a used giant 100cc yak which included two fromeco batteries.

They guy who sold me the plane told me they were supposed to be almost new!

However, when I checked the fromeco site I could not find them.

The sticker on the battery says this : 7.5 2400 mah lithium phosphate batteries.

They are 4 cells.

Are these LIFE batteries?

I am really confused if they were A123 or LIFE.

I searched for the same specs, and to my surprised I found a post at FG about the same battery, and the FG support guy replied by saying it was a MISTAKEN sticker. The 7.5 V is a peak voltage and the sticker should have read 6.6Vs.

So, should I treat them as A123's or LIFE. Is A123 the same as LIFE?

Thanks in advance for the help. I really need it

Status: offline 		A123 is a manufacturers name for Lithium Ironphosphate batteries. Tons of info here.. http://www.hangtimes.com/a123_batteries_for_giants_faq.html

As for your specific batteries, I would call Fromeco directly and ask them or replace them with packs you know the history and proper handling of.
