This is a good low cost charger that will charge everything

thanks so much....i am new to the rc world from a long absence in rc...so trying to get things figured out...i want to stay around 300 and was looking at the epx pro with a lipo and charger or the avalanche xte stock...both around the same price so im not sure what to purchase...any suggestions?

the thunder AC6 (i love mine) will charge a 2s 5000mah lipo in 1 hour. which will give you almost a half hour of runtime in the volcano.

The stock charger on the avalanche will take like 2 or 3 hours PER lipo. So, figure 5-6 hours to charge both packs. And you get about 15 minutes of runtime per charge.
So, if you get a avalanche or 8e, you will still want a better charger.

I am using the Turnigy Accucel-6 and the Accucel-8 , both are fairly cheap. You can purchase them from Hobby King, also run the Turnigy Nano-Tech batteries and have had really good luck with the Lipos.  Both chargers require a ac/RC adapter. I converted a old power supply from a computer to one and run chargers on it. Works great with no issues!

Love the Turnigy batteries. Less than $20 from Hobbyking for a 2s 3300 mah. Currently get a solid twenty minutes out of it.
