Status: offline 		I have a set of retracts that are not as smooth as I like. I think this will do the job:

I wanted to see if regular 3 in 1 oil is simliar and safe to inject into retracts or do I need to by the lubricate listed above?

Any help is appreciated.

Status: offline 		I think that regular 3-in-1 oil would probably make the o-rings swell and bind in the cylinders. I would check with an air cylinder supplier to see what they recommend.

Status: online 		Regular oil; NO It will mess up th o rings. stick with silicone grease or the specialty oil.

Status: offline 		Air tool oil is made for tools using the black buna-n o rings. Paintball gun oil is pretty similar stuff too if there's a store near you that has it.
