Hi all....
i charged a set of batteries this afternoon but never got the chance to run'em. (started rain)
so i might not get to use'em 'till tomorrow.
is this bad for the batteries?
one is a NIMH and one is a LIPO.
if this is no big deal, can i hook'em up to my charger again tomorrow before going out just to top them off and make sure there nice and charged?

NIMH- this is fine, but make sure you flatten the pack within a few weeks.
lipo- this should be avoided, one day won't hurt that much but a topped off battery will damage itself if it goes unused, what I do is fully charge them run the car/truck for a minute or two and then store it, this will take the edge off the charge.

I charged 4 2s lipos 3 days ago and haven't used them, how long will they last before gettign damaged? I plan on taking out the mt4 today and using them all up as it needs 2 2s packs to power the thing so I won't be out too long.

If youre not going to run your lipos in say, a week, then discharge them to 3.8v/cell.

NIMH packs should be stored at 80% charge, and never flatlined like NICD packs, according to the info that came with my $60 3000 mah Trinity Heavy Metal pack 10 years ago lol.
Hard to believe it used to cost $60 for 3000 mah packs that still last only 10+ minutes with a 12-14T mod brushed motor, when you get more power and life out of a cheaper setup nowdays...
I've got too much invested in old elec stuff to make the BL / lipo switch.
At least nitro has stayed about the same price.
