Hull looks like the 57" Aeromarine Sigmature - http://www.aeromarinerc.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=19&Itemid=53

Motor looks like a 23cc Zenoah

Thanks for the info.  How can you tell what cc the engine is?   Does it say it somewhere?

Hull/Brand is a good one (though surprisingly unpopular design). Believe it is just a styling thing that has kept it from being more widely used. The Aeromarine 56" apache is probably 100 times more common/popular. I have never run one but good buddy purchased one - though dont believe he ever built it either. Looks like a nice paint scheme on yours. Hardware is a little on the rough side (looks like it is Aeromarine Hardware also) and Aeromarine hardware is overdue an update in styling. All looks in reasonable order though - for a free boat it is a keeper!!

Motor capacity is just me hazarding a guess. Looks like the older 2 port 23cc zenoah. I believe the 26cc version was only available as a 4 port. Either way it is still a decent motor and should move that hull to around 35-40mph without a lot of fine tuning. In the right hands it may well go faster. 35mph is a very respectable speed from a boat that size and would certainly be plenty of fun in a little choppy water!

Thanks so much.   I know not to swim.   Have a little boat that got stuck.    Bought fishing pole.  Works well.   One more question so I can finish putting it together.  There's a red and black wire off the engine.  Red is hooked up but black isn't.   Where do I put that wire?  Is that a ground for a kill switch?   I don't see a switch anywhere.   Thanks for all the help

Be sure you can access the boat anywhere on the pond with that fishing pole!! this is nearing the time of year when people die in ponds

Black is for optional kill switch 90% of RC gas boats dont use a kill switch. Majority just set the radio so throttle down will stall the motor.

If you post some more/clear pics of the motor setup we might be able to point out any other things you may want to address

Sorry about the size.   I will post more later when I get home.   Gonna replace all water and fuel lines.   Don't want to chance it

There is also an electric fuel pump in it.   12v I believe.   Do I need that?   It's not hooked up to anything

Should not need an electric pump in the boat for anything. Your boat is equipped with a clutch so the boat can idle without spinning the prop. When this happens there is no water flow though the cooling system. Many will use a pulse type pump to continue the water flow. It is not essential as long as you do not idle for long without running fast enough to have water flow once more. Not sure if this is the pump you are seeing (they are usually not electric - they use the engine crank pulse pressure to operate). A pic of the pump might help
