    ok i just got done building a dle 111 v2 new block crank cylinders pistons and bowman rings i was running a 40:1 mix useing belray hr1 oil should i richen my setting any or could i leave them alone i have this motor on a 35% yak 54

    Everything I have read and talked to the other gasser flyers is break in using Lawn Boy ashless or Stihl oil at 32:1 then after a couple of gallons switch over to a good synthetic oil like Red Line or Royal Purple at 40 to 1 and leave it there....Some guys will fly as high as 100 to 1 but You can't hurt your engine with too much oil

    i know synth will make it take longer to break in but im ok with that still has more power then the dle 111 v1 so no complantes just would hate to ruin what i just did but then agine getting them nidles set back to neqar perfect is not easy ATm it's running super great

    If its running good dont dork with it. Running rich does nothing to contribute to break in, to properly seat the rings the engine has to reach operating temp, otherwise it will just take longer

    thanks i has mixed feeling about what i should do beings this is my first total rebuild after my dle111 v1 throw a crankrod barring after 5 year and about 300 gals of fuel
