I have what I think is a Carl Goldberg Falcon III . I got the plane from someone
that was going to throw it away. It was a kit and I have the plans. I converted it
into a taildragger and wanted to put some wheel pants on it, but I can't determine
what size wheel pant will work. The plans call for a 2.25 size wheel, but I am planning
on using a 2.75 size Dubro wheel. Can someone advise me on the size wheel pant that
will work on this model? The wing span is 56 inches, length is 47 inches, weight is 4-41/2
pounds. Engine size is .35 to .45 two cycle, .45 to .61 four cycle. Thanks, Aframe2

Any wheel pant that will fit a 2.75" Dubro wheel will work. It's really a matter of what you think looks good and nothing more.

Chads right, they are more for looks on a model. I have several sets I have picked up at swap meets or after someone has a crash and just use what fits and looks the best. If you fly from a grass field they can create problems. I also never mount them until after the maiden of a plane either. Once I have gotten use to the planes quirks on landing then I mount them or they will just get broken.
