HI,
I just recieved my PNP today and am plannin on gettin started soon here. I will try and keep up a log of how the build is comin along but I aint to good with that stuff. This is going to be a slow ongoing build because of school and all but i plan to get it done before summer 2013. Like I said i wil try and keep the build going with pictures and all but it might be a little slow.
Regards Josh

Subscribed. I like the PnP, it's a cool model. Do you have a powerplant in mind?

Rv7...I have already ordered a .52 4 stroke, from looking at another thread it looks to be a good setup plus im thinking floats so i need more power.

Excellent choice with the 4-stroke. The floats will be really cool!

Josh. Yep, this is a slow building kit the way it it is, take your time at it. There is lots of info to be had so do some research. It took me all winter to build mine. One of the things that I didnt like was the exposed aileron servo wires so I made some hollow struts to hide the wires. I also made laminated edges on the elevator and rudder like a Lazy Bee. I also made removeable rudder, stab and elevator. I'll try and keep an eye on your build, any questions? ask away.

Steve, thanks for the comment and the pictures. I would love to know how you built the covers for the servo wires, im not much of a fan of the exposed wires either. Thanks, Josh

Josh, the hidden servo wires were pretty simple. I took the kit wing struts and added a small stick of wood to the sides of them and capped them with some balsa. Then I glued a leading edge to the struts and sanded/shaped it so that it sort of hid the fact that the struts were wider. I made them just wide enough to get a short servo wire through them. The wire stays inside the struts . I decided not to cover the struts, instead, I just painted them grey. Hope this helps.

Hi all, been a while since ive posted anything..have most of the fuse done and will post pics soon. One question..can anyone give me a detailed reply on how to make the static wing struts not static so they actually are mounted to the wing and fuse with screws or something.
Thanks josh

Hey all, figured i'd drop back in my thread finally and give an update. There isn't much to say besides the fact that the left wing section is done along with the fuselage and all the stabilizers and there control surfaces. I'm at a stand still now cause I have no money for parts like hinges, fuel line, covering, etc. I'd love to try and finish it over my spring break but we shall see.
Shoe53, this kit is a fun one, it is my first so I wouldn't know what others are like but I think its been a pretty good intro into kitsdue to the cutting and shaping that's required.
Regards Josh
