    Hello,
    If any one can help me with gearing it would greatly help me. I am upgrading my stock slash to brushless KV 3900 10t motor . What Gearing should I start with???
    Any help thank you.

    you can pretty much go by traxxas gearing chart for the VXL model.

    Your motor is only 400kv higher than the vxl motor.

    If you want to stay on the safe side, use traxxas gearing chart and go down 1 tooth from each reccomended gearing.

    Im running a 3900kv motor in mine with 23/86, but I'm also running a heatsink and fan with thermo past as a precaution

    I converted mine over to brushless over a year ago and its still running fine I had a use a 25/86 set up. Other than eating spur gears before switching to an aluminum one I have had no problems at all.

    I prefer my motors not to get above 160. Most can run to 190 before damage happens, but running over 160 over and over can shorten the life of the motor.
