I have a 6EX transmitter. Can I use a 5 channel or 7 channel receiver? I want to use the better dual antenna 7 channel receiver.
Thanks.

Yes, The R617FS receiver will work nicely with your 6EX transmitter.

Bill,
I think it depends on what your serial # is.. I cannot at present use a 617 rec. in my 6EX

Bill,
I don't think the 617 rec. will work on all 6ex TX.

The R617FS is compatible with the 6EX transmitter. If it is not working with yours, you may have a Zero Guid problem that means the transmitter needs to be sent in for a free update.

For a listing of Futaba 2.4Ghz transmitters and receivers that are compatible with each other, please see our website at the bottom of this page:

My Serial # starts with A70 and I have been told that is why it does not work with the 617 Rec.

Thanks,
I may be sending it in soon.
