Here's my truggy build....
Started with a fresh out of the box Losi Micro Truggy

Ran it once to give myself a baseline and see where it needs improvement.
This is what I came up with
-More speed: Brushless system w/ LiPo 2s
-Better steering: Better servo and get rid of flimsy links and possible replace steering system w/ bell crank system
-Better range: Add my 2.4ghz FS-GT3B radio to the mix
-Better handling: Carbon Fiber chassis and better shocks
-Better looks: That's a given!

I then stripped it down to a roller and got myself a new body painted

Figured while I was at it, why not paint everything to match (radio and carrying case)

Decals were also added

That's where I'm at with it as of now. I'm going to order up the brushless system (Turnigy Trackstar 18a ESC and Turnigy 1220 10300kv motor) and carbon fiber sheet to do my own chassis. I already have a HTX900 servo and Turnigy 2s 800mah LiPo and will be getting my 3racing turnbuckle kit to start work on my bell crank system. More to come.....

Not much to look at under the shell. Going to be ordering parts and materials to make the carbon fiber chassis and install electronics tonight. I will post more pics as soon as I start rolling on that.

Nice job - good looking car..

I was thinking of getting one of those, but I saw one in person at a hobby fair last weekend, and was surprised at how small it was. A bit too small for my liking.. I had the SC before, but got bored with it, so sold it...

In the end I bought something cheap and 1/18 scale, and of course the servo fried the next day.. Probably should have gotten the Losi.. I just want something for messing around inside the house with anyways...

Yours looks good though. Get some video...

If u change ur mind about making the chassis. Exotec make a awsome chassis, I highly reccomend one, it makes everything eaiser to work on. Hows the rally, SCT & truggy use the same chassis. but anyway here is mine, just rember it has shorter arms been a SCT

that is an awesome chassis. I thought about getting that but decided it would WAY more fun (and challenging) to build my own.
got my parts ordered
-turnigy trackstar 18a 1/18th brushless ESC
-turnigy 1220 brushless motor 10300kv
-1.5mm thick carbon fiber sheet

can't wait for the parts to get here. got to try to get to the post office to pick up my 3racing turnbuckles as well.
