I finally was able to fly my converted BM V2.2 yesterday aturday. I was concerned about how it was going to fly; but much to my amazement it flew great, very smooth and much too fast. I need to learn throttle managemnt.
The E-Flite Power 160 is really strong motor as the vertical pull was astounding I had to throttle back on the motor as it did not tend to slow down as my old YS did. Really pleased, I'm sorta convinced on E-power.

Great conversion

It is about 2-3 ounces heavier than other higher priced motors, but adequate if you can stay below the 11 pond max weight for pattern.

How is the weight of your BM? What prop and ESC?

Glad to hear it's working out for you!

The plane gained alot of weight. That was due to a mishap I had when a wheel came off and plane went into the grass area ripping out landing gear and cracking the nose section.
It is now at 11lbs 7 ounces all up with batteries (2- 5s, 5,000 mah).
Prop is 20x13, ESC is Phoenix 110HV
