I use heater hose from the auto store with a hose clamp. Could also use the silicone types for glow engines.

Mc Master Carr carries silicone and teflon tubing that will work fine. Suggest you drill and tap the exhaust stinger at the end for 4-40 button head screws. Put a couple 1/8" button heads on it and then slide the tube over them and secure with a tie wrap

I use a thin coat of the same silicone I use to seal the muffler to the exhaust port and a couple of small sheet metal screws installed 180 degrees apart. It's never come off or loosened to date!

I tried using high temp silicon hose but the gas exhaust fumes kept eatting into the silicon and splitting it. I now use a rubber radiator hose from the auto parts store. It already had a couple of 45 degree bends in it and is a snug firt on the end of the stinger with a plastic tie for good measure. I am running a DLE20 with the noisey stock canister muffler, but the hose extension has quietened it down alot.
