I'm building a Fun 51 kit and in it there are two 1/8" x 7/8" 8 1/4" ply leading edge doublers.

Page 13 of the manual asks to use one on the wing leading edge.

Where should I use the other one?

I couldn't find any reference in the manual to use the other one.

Those who have already bulit this kit could shed some light.

Thanks!
Gnaras

I used only one on the leading edge. The wing is very strong as is.

Just maidened mine yesterday and all went well. Be sure to balance the plane laterally. Mine, when finished, was a little heavy to the right wing. It was very noticeable in yesterday's flights requiring left aileron trim. Will be opening the covering on left wingtip and correcting.

Ditto on only useing one. I believe to use both you would have to trim off the nose of the F1 ribs in order for things to fit. Great plane for the money. I have more in Monokote than the kit cost!......Gene

Thanks Dick and Gene.

I had asked the same question to tower hobbies and they too replied that only one is needed.

But they asked me to hold on to other one till the kit is complete
