I need to order the stiffer springs - but I can only find the Matorro springs for King Tigers from Matomart. Will they fit? I've always been confused about Matorro vs. Heng Long. (10/12/2012 3:42 AM) Before you go nuts, try to reclock your springs.....I seem to remember the hl king tiger has the spring holes at 12 o'clock, just drill a small hole at 9 or 3 oclick depending on side.....Thats what I did on my e50 project where I went from 9 to 6 wheels a side....worked fine for me.

(10/12/2012 3:59 AM) Better of to buy stiffer springs then clock as all clocking does is put more stress on the springs then they are rated for. Does clocking work...well yes, for a while. I upgraded the springs on  my KV-1(factory ones were completely flat right out of the box), and didn't clock them, and it rides perfectly as upgrading all the springs negated the need to clock the front and rears...just my 2 cents..I would think they should work, as I used jagdpanther upgrades on my KV-1 and they worked great. All the springs are the same other then the clock position of the small tab in relation to the stem,and that subtle bend outward the stem takes from the main coil...I'd give em a try..

When you go to press the new springs into their perch use the flat side of a straight-slot screwdriver to apply pressure across the entire spring evenly and just push down hard with your thumb...it will save your thumb from a ton of abuse lol.... p.s. If your running that much weight their might be a small chance that you will have to clock the last two springs(front &rear), but it's hard to say....I'm running a standard HL set-up and have no problems at all.
