I call it the Jägerhaus, a small hunting cabin or farm building in a style found all across western Europe.

 

This is a small building I made for my tank battle field this weekend.  It started out as a cut up cardboard box spray painted green.  It survived the Bazooka team, so I used some scrap plywood and left over house paint to finish it out.  The windows are from the box a train set came in and the small strips of wood for the door and window trim came from the local high school woodshop class.  It cost nothing to build but time, and I had a good time building it.

 

I know the shop teacher, and he knows I build stuff for my tanks, so he dropped off a trash can full of “trim for your models” one afternoon.  Check out your local school woodshop class for free “trim” for models, it could be a gold mine.
