That is really cool. I will have to do that. I had the spring and pin break on me though even with the stock owb setup. Wouldn't this just wear out the spring rally really fast?

 it does increase rotating mass, but think of the mass of the tires compared to that...almost a negligable in comparison.  and i think this is a great solution to a really common problem, great video!

Rotating mass from the power source is different than rotating mass from the wheels.

It does not increase rotating mass on an f 4.6 guys.

If your referring to the starting mod in that video on the f4.6, that start shaft doesn't spin when the engine is running. It has a spring and pin mechanism in the end of the crank and once that engine starts there is absolutely not driving force against the start shaft. I have a big block revo with one of these engines that I use the one way bearing in the end of a drill to start. Engine running you can grab that shaft , it's not even spinning. Like I said earlier some engine start shafts are keyed to the crank and yes then this would add mass but not with f series mills.
