Curious what set up might be good for a 90mm foam jet. I have a 90mm EPO foam F86, 60in WS, 88oz. It's in kit form now. I need ESC, motor, servos, etc. I have a fan but was thinking about a Change Sun 10 blade. I want it to have plenty of power and sound as scale as possible.

For "plenty of power and good sound" I would recommend a JetFan 90 +  a HET motor. There are other choices too (Stumax, etc.)

I have located a thread for the NitroPlanes F-86 Kit I have. The consensus is a JetFan 90, Het 700-60-1865Kv motor, Castle 100a ESC with BEC, 6s 5000 MAH 30C lipo. I think I'm going with that. Ive seen good numbers and the sound is very turbine like. Thanks for your inputs Guys!

I'd like to recommend that the 5000 mah 6 s pack be a NanoTech 65c. Batteries are the important part!
6.8 pounds thrust...plane 5.5 pounds plane. Nice!

The Jetfan rotor is an excellent choice, I am running the 700-60-1865Kv motor with Jetfan rotor in the Extreme Alloy housing, runs around 3.3-3.4kg thrust at 2200 watts on 5000 6s 35c packs, and gets my new Mirage moving along nicely. Its not as efficient as a 90mm Wemo Midifan but it has a different sound. Here is my Mirage:

Great having big wide open space to fly! The performance of the Mirage is great too!

Yup our club field is looking good right now, although off the south end there is a massive patch of blackberries about 30m wide and hundreds of meters long, you dont wana go landing in there!
