I have a Supertiger 90; OS 91 4stroke surpass and a OS 1.20FS PUMPED. Which should I use? Just getting opinions since either will work, but I'm curious.

It really depends on your style of flying. For just relaxed sport flying any of the .90 size engines will do quite nicely, but for hot dogging aerobatic and 3D style flying use the 1.20.

I have a UCD 60 with a OS .91 4s. I have a 14x4w prop on it. Its not speedy but it doesn't need to be, in fact you need to keep your speed down with the UCD. This combiniation does all that I ask it to do. But, I'm not really into the 3D flying. It has good vertical but l wouldn't call it unlimited. Hope this helps.

I know this is late. But you control speed with a prop. So more power does not mean more speed. How ever this plane comes out nose heavy. So the power it needs is 90 2 stroke or 120 4 stroke. but. You need so much tail weight (even with battery in tail) it defeats the purpose. If you go to a hobbystore and try a sim you will get the idea.

Speed isn't the issue here. I'm thinking of the ability to handle 3D and any maneuver with ease.

Hi!
I have flown a You-Can-Do .60 now for 6 years, powered by a 15cc (.91) MVVS two stroke.
I have tried many prop sizes over the years (14x4,15x4N, 15x4 APC) and the best (so far ) has been a 16x4W APC. That prop gives very stable hovering characteristics and a decent (not spektacular) climb-out at full power.

But...The You-Can-Do.60 is totally worseless for anything else than 3D flying so go with a .90 engine and keep it light! I use fishing wires to the elevator and side-rudder to reduce weight, I have the servos inside the fuselage more forward than the original place.
Tank is 12oz and fuel is 5% nitro and 20% oil.
Glow plug OS 8.

Had a UCD 60 with a Saito 125 swinging a apc 17x4w, pulled very well from a hover, flew nice and easy and slowed well with that wide prop. It's been a while but I may have changed to a apc 16x4w at some point..... still have both the props.

I know I flew the 16x4 on a Fusion.

I have a friend that flies his UCD 60 with OS 1.08 and it is amazing! No end to the vertical climb, can climb out of a hover with AUTHORITY! Since I have that OS 1.20FS with a pump, I think I am going that way, based on several others who have shared opinions.
