 Hey Guys,

Well I have been racing trucks for awhile now, and I purchased a Losi XXX-SCB and after realized it was a Brushed Motor...

I did some research and am planning on purchasing a Castle Creations Sidewinder SCT Combo 3800Kv   (ESC & NEU-Castle 1410 1Y 3800 Kv) to replace the Brushed Motor.

Has anyone done this upgrade?

Does the Motor and ESC fit inside the buggy?

Just Curious prior to purchase...

I appreciate your time,

Cole Mayfield

I don't see why it wouldn't...... and those 4-pole motors have some serious torque.  Just don't get ANY water anywhere near the ESC.

It's a direct fit for the motor.  You will have to cut the mounting posts off the stock ESC plate and use servo tape to hold the Castle ESC in place.  The motor wires are long so you'll have to find a neat way to coil them up.  It's not worth trying to cut them shorter and resolder them.  It's a smooth running system with good torque.  You won't break any land speed records on 2S but, it's a good speed for a race track.
