Status: offline 		I own a 2 Channel Jerobee AM Transmitter from 1971.
I have found several defective components on the circuit board, the .10uf 10v electrolytic capacitor was shorted and I was able to order it.
There are four large (.5 watt?) grey 5 band precision (.05% tolerance) resistors which are no longer made.
If anyone out there has parts or a spare circuit board, please contact me as I would buy them.

Status: offline 		out of curiosity what is the resistance of the resistors?
cause you could prolly use 1 watt resistors instead depending on the resistance as the higher watt ones are usually lower end of the resistance spectrum, and going higher in wattage shouldn't make a difference.
but if its .05% tolerance (I've never seen or heard of one personally) it might or might not work also there is no color for anything under 1% tolerance as for the 5th band brown is 1%, red 2%, gold 5%, silver 10%, and no band 20%
I'm curious what the colors are of it

I had sent an e-mail to Digi-Key Corp, an electronics supply company as no one I knew could figure this out.
Turns out all 4 components are military grade inductors!
That's why they were physically larger, and had 5 bands equally spaced apart, with one band at the end about twice as wide as the other 4.
That's why I love electronics and radio control, I learn new stuff all the time!!!
I tried to attatch a picture of the PCB twice with no luck.
Thanks for your help!!!

only thing that would be worst is if you needed variable capacitors for it as those haven't been on the market for many years due to people building cable bootleg box's in the late 80s

Status: offline 		Since you got a low resistance, they are probably OK (coil not broken internally). Inductor colour codes here:

If replacing the shorted capacitor doesn't fix things up (which you probably could have rescued from any old VCR, radio, or other consumer electronics headed for the trash), you might want to check the transistors for shorts, the most likely being the final output transistor.

Here's a link to some vintage RC TX and Rcvr with schematics. You may find something similiar as the technology at that time was very similiar from set to set:

Even though you have found the resistors are actually inductors, here's some info (if I remember correctly): The Military did away with the old brown carbon resistors (they absorb moisture and subsequently change resistance) and substituted with the RCR line. The better alternative is the metal film resistor and is identified under the RLR part number:
