How do I check if the rpm sensor is bad? i gapped the sensor with the blades using 3 post it note paper.
when i spin the turbine it wont read past 4k rpm. i have another at450 that will reach 6500-7000k on an air spin.
the ecu does not activate the pump due to the low rpms.
any thoughts
thanks
hector

Its a hall effect sensor ... mine went bad on my AMT Mercury with the same results (the air just keeps going, as it never reads a good rpm and continues the sequence)

You need a magnet and multimeter and google ....

Scott.
