Status: offline 		Hello I have a G-62 that runs at mid to full throttle but never reaches more than maybe 3000 RPM it's running super rich. I have had the needle valves turned all the way in and still has to much fuel getting into the carb. I rebuilt the carb and still the same issue. And I changed all the parts out and replaced them with new parts from a ZenG-62 rebuild kit. Still no changes. I tried a different Tank no changes. I can start the engine let it run for a couple of minutes stop it take the carb apart and fuel pours out it's soaked. I've had plenty of G-62's never had this issue. Any ideas. Please do no tell me to buy a different engine thats not going to happen
1.I rebuilt the Carb.
2. I Changed to a different tank (outside the aircraft)
3. tried different gas (I have three G-62's a DA-100 A DLE-111 and a DA-150 and a Sacks 5.8 All run great on my gas oil mixture)

Status: offline 		The rubber tip in the pop off needle is damaged? Did you use carb cleaner? It will eat that tip. Pop off lever set too high? The pulse diaphragm installed backward? The gasket on the pulse diaphragm on the wring side? Little flapper valves in the carb damaged or the fapper valve sheet installed in the wrong orientation? Try a different carb.

Status: offline 		If you have other G62's, try takeing a carb off of one that you know works and is tuned good and see if that cures the problem on this G62.
When taking off the good carb take notice on how the gasket is situated, etc............

Did you check the float level setting ?

Status: offline 		I'd look at the fuel needle and replace it if you haven't already. It may be sticking open, or it may not be assembled correctly and causing problems. I hate changing them because of that tiny little spring, but when all else fails, give it a shot.

Status: offline 		The rubber needle tip has to be damaged to be letting that amoutn of fuel in, or it is not situated on the arm correctly.
