Lets see your favourite Rc Jet video's. There seems to be many shaky and blurry low res video's, and very few high quality Hd ones. Feel free to prove me wrong.

This was one of my all time fav's .. love the video editing and slo-mo on the landing 2m:32s ... It was very inspiring to me when I first decided to venture into Jets .... Hat off to the pilot I think, we all know it can go any way when it starts getting a little untidy ....

Scott.

One of the things that I don't care for is the hard rock music usually somebody mixes into the video. I also don't like dead space sound-wise so I don't have a solution. I like to listen to the turbine in flight but then listening to a bunch of nitro PT40 trainers tuning in the background isn't great either. Somebody will probably hit a balance with the right music and ambient noise. I just haven't seen it yet in many videos...

Not necessarily my favorite, but we had a hard laugh after the multi million dollar editing was done.
Thanks to George Lucas at Donald Duck Studios for the help!

That is very impressive. It reminds me of a video a chap from Dubai made with multiple go-pro's. I can't find the link right now, but it was very cool.

I'm usually not a fan of music in jet videos as the turbine is what it's all about like the music from a V-8 muscle car but this video did it for me years ago. I believe it's done by Gordon Dickens. The editing is very good and I've always liked the song.

I know adding music could be cheesy, but some cameras like the one I use the engine and air flow become overwhelmingly annoying and loud. I also fly a JC Rabbit and the whine during taxi is unbearable.

Do you guys simply reduce the volume during video edit?

Most of my favourites are here: Radio Control Aircraft Gallery. But then, I'm a bit biased. ;-)

I will probably get a lot of backlash for this but my favorites are the crash compilatons.  I feel sorry for the guys who have put so much time, effort and cost into their planes but who doesn't get chills watching an eight turbine B-52 go into the ground?

That'd be CA Jets 2008. I'll have to figure out a place to put those movies now that the site is no longer.
Glad you liked it. I like the Col. Robert Thacker piece in that movie.

Hey Paul,

Great to see you have them and would sure love to get access to all of them....you did one heck of a job and I think others need to be able to enjoy them as much as I did.

BTW....

What ever happened to CA Jets...?

Just went to the site one day and it was no more ;-(
