just was wondering if there was a coat of something I could put over the faskolor after having finished the paint job that would eliminate some of the chipping and peeling that occurs on the inside of the body after a few skids on the lid...

thanks

it will work fine.. just give it a full 24 hours to cure after you paint before you use it.

I always let my last coat dry then spray a layer of fascoat to help protect the paint. Works great.

Washing the body helps it stick better, since it's painted on the inside easy to fix. Backing it with a backing color adds more layers of paint which makes it harder to scratch through. The only time I had faskolor paint crack is when I tried to paint during a extreme cold snap, it cracked while it dried. I did have faskolor peel when tried remove the mask before the paint cured

You need to seal the paint when your done with Faskote Sealer. If you don't use a sealer you can easily scrape off the paint with a tooth pick.

The spray cans makes a thicker coat making it harder to scratch and/ or rub through. It takes about 1 1/2 cans to paint a one color car. I have not used the airbrush paint. One of the things I have learned all paint can be scratched or rubbed through, useing a backing color changes the shade of the color and adds additional layers of paint.
