See pics. I am almost completed with decorating my Comp-Arf Ultra Flash. The building is completed except for the turbine install.
I'm waiting for my new Wren 140 but all else is done. I got an "all white" version that made it easy to finish by masking off, priming and painting
to duplicate a typical "NAVY TRAINER" scheme. I used Rustoleum UltraCover 2X primer and paint and the rest is vinyl from a BTE ReactionX jet kit.
I like the Navy Trainer scheme since it is highly visible in the air and quite easy to do. The jet should weigh between 25 and 26 lbs and with 32 lbs of thrust
it should be a real performer!!!

Ali and Afterburner1 had p140 in there U. Flashes and THEY. WERE. FAST.

I've never been the slow one in my little BARF, but I was sittin' in the back of the bus. Until we meet again.

 Nice colour scheme :-)

Simple but looks like it will be effective in the air, always nice to see a non-standard scheme too

Oh man you were reading my mind, I was thinking of redoing my Thunderbird Scheme Classic Flash in a T-45 scheme....

Looks great!

p.s. I have a Cheetah in my classic, I open it up on occasion, then I chicken out and pull the stick back to 1/2 go go

geh3, just as an FYI, my UF came in at 24.5 lbs with saddle tanks, wing tank (for smoke), and main tank. Smoke system also installed. Your guess of 25-26 is right in the ballpark. Mine is P-180RX powered.

Nawwww...we don't push as hard here at 6000' as you flatlanders do, but it ain't no slouch.

I just painted the back half flat black then applied small triangular
srips using that blue painters tape and sprayed over it all with silver krylon
It sort of looks like a typical military tailcone that contracts hydraulically!

curious about your statement. You dont push it as hard because it can easily get smokin at that altitude while at the same time its likely the VNE drops (as with most aircraft)?

No...meaning the rated thrust is less here at altitude than sea level. We use 160's here to power what u guys at lower altitudes push adequately with 120's.
