Hello everyone,

Just got my D4S lights for my SM Hawk (large). All looks good but I have a few questions:

1. Does anyone have pictures of their light installation?

2. I am wondering exactly where the lenses should go for the fuse, wings and tail?

3. Anyone have picture of the wingtip light construction/installation in particular?

Thanks
Dave

Here is what I did. There is a bottom strobe in front of the speed brake on the bottom also.

I know you are doing a t-45. Here are some shots I took at Oshkosh a couple of years ago. The T45 has an extra red beacon on top.

Thanks very much!

Ate your wingtip lights only covered by the green or red plastic?
In other words is it just the led covered by the curved plastic?

I have two triangular lenses, one round and one red for the fuse so I guessing that the wing tip lights don't have lenses?

Thanks again for any help
Dave

For the Hawk D4S only gave a red and green piece of flat plastic. I cut out the painted section of the wing to make a vacuum form. Wayne Layne did the forming for me. After I glued it in place I painted and 1/8" around it to look like a light bezzel.
