Status: offline 		Although mildly excited about the JS-2(would rather have IS-2, but I'm sure that would soon follow),I'm very happy Tamiya is finally  moving past their re-hashes of re-hashes philosophy. Like most I think the T34(76) would be a goldmine as far as the tank market is concerned or maybe even something British for once like everyone has begged for years for. Hell I'd be happy with a Japanese tank as there are none of those on the market either.  Something I've noticed is that Tamiya tends to wanna design late war tanks, would much rather see some earlier stuff(i.e. Panzer II,M3 Grant,Crusader,Matilda,B1,etc.), am I the only one who's noticed this??

Status: offline 		I probably need to move some kits I'll never build to get this one. And if it needs the correct wheels... SCHUMO has some wheels now so I bet they would quickly produce what's needed if necessary because Franks parts are EXPENSIVE!!! Just a muzzle brake for my planned KV-122 build was 50 bucks.

Status: offline 		If it is a rehash using a KV lower hull it will be obvious. The IS lower hull is totally different. If they use the KV lower hull it would be
more accurate to come out with a KV1s or a KV85. Would love to see an early stepnose IS2.

Status: offline 		this is the 1/35 JS2 from tamiya, you can bet it would be to scale like all their tanks ... no one have seen them yet so why complain either

its a nice addition although i don't like russian tanks but that's my opinion that would say ttheir stuff isn't not advanced , it's still top of the bill , tamiya kits

Status: offline 		All I can say is if the new Tamiya model does not have the mixture of track sections with the variants of plant codes on them, I'm not buying one, period. And I expect the bolt holes for the spare tracks to be threaded also, and the mud scrapper had better be scale and metal.

  You want a kit that's perfect out of the box? What's up with that? I don't even think I could read the plant markings much less get bolts threaded straight in the spart link holders, run it through some of your infamous mud and nobody will know.

Status: offline 		I figured that if others can bash the new tank I could too. Of course I expect perfection OTB, otherwise I've got to spend many hours putting bearings in the TU's, wheels, idlers, return rollers, etc, and doing PE for everything, plus engraving the factory code on the track links and other odds and ends, making working hinges for the inspection plates, working fuel tank vents, etc etc. Like I have the time for that. LOL. Besides, it's nothing but Tiger bait anyhow.

Status: offline 		that's just the 1/35, its around for some years now, i bet the 1/16 will be better but if you want it perfect  ... you wouldn't want to pay such a model, everyone is complaining its to expensive yet ... so a lot of more detail would raise its price to higher rates then now ... you have to add all that stuff by yourself sevo
am eager to see foto's of it ... let's wait until then from dreaming about guy's

I guess a few guys took your little tirade literally...

Loadouts and equipment on tanks would have changed on a daily, weekly, and as-when refitted basis that it is practically impossible to model a perfect rendition of a particular tank in a particular place on a particular day - did it have four, or three spare track links on the left side of the hull? Did the crew have the jerry can standing up on the rack, or lying on its side?

And more importantly, was the bucket hanging from the towing eye full of poo, like I am now?

Sevo and I go back a few years and take every chance to poke fun at each other when ever we can on the forum and off. Hence the smiley face things. Sorry if it was taken too literally but it will continue in the future. It's all light hearted.
 What a lot of you didn't see is how many e-mails were sent back and forth during "Sandy" getting info and updates to our east coast tanker brothers during that period, there were a LOT.

Status: offline 		This is a grand followup to their line to add, I am sure it will be accurate and correct, after all Tamiya is the standard for model accuracy. They will not let us down.

I dare say, reading between the lines, with this tank issue starting the cold war, this will open up forthcomming models in the modern theatres (like the T-72, Cheiftan, M60 etc.) The possiblities are exciting.
