Status: offline 		as the subject says,,,,,,,,,,,,,the motors are 400 watts, the controls are all 50 amp.............looking to use a 5000mil lipo 3cell..........will it work and best guess for how long,i know not long at 100% power but say at 40 to 50%.......any help would be great

Status: offline 		According to my math if you prop them to pull the 400 watts you'll draw 33 amps per motor, which gives you close to a 20C draw on the battery and a flight time of roughly 3 minutes to the low voltage cutoff. If you plan to use the power that your motors are made to give you then you don't have nearly enough battery in your plane. At minimum a dual setup to have 10000 mah is needed.

Obviously you can under prop and/or run at part throttle and get up to 5-6 minutes to full depletion, but that may not give you enough power for your plane. Are you setting up a plane that needs 1200 watts of power?
