Here is an e-mail I received 11/1/12 from them about the Elephant. It cost $248.71 and shipping is $115.00. this is the kit with drive gear boxes/TU's, eleavation gearbox, traverse gearbox, and recoil gearbox. It does not have the control electronics or sound module. I just checked their site and it looks like they have 91 in stock. Still have the T-55 as well.

Dear,
Now,we have the stock for the elephant kit now,do you need it ?

Best regards!

I think they are working with clark for controlers, they now have the clark boards on their site and clark just started offering t55 boards. I could be wrong.

I like the way the T-55 looks. I would like to have one, but I only want the static model. Does anyone have a static Hooben T-55 that they would like to comment on? Any advice/information is appreciated.

They do have a static t-55. I have the rc one, externally exactly the same. I would highly recommend it. Some of the mouldings are slightly wonky but I managed it and my skills are limited. You should have no problem! Also, word is that they are planning a new release next year.

That's why I want a static T-55, I wanna build a diorama with a Centurion rolling by a burned out, blown up, beat to heck T-55.
