Currently i am covering a 100" Great Planes Extra 330L. After that my son and i will each build a TF Spitfire. We may do a joint build on RCU.

Status: online 		My building goes year round and i build in foam and balsa ,i finished this foam one(slowly) and a tidewater pronto so now iam building a foam BD-5 a ultron foam 3-d plane .My balsa builds this winter is a scratch built twin otter 84 inch wing span and a albitross seaplane the same size both from ivans plans .Iam also a cheap ars and build with dollar tree foam or free blue dow fanfold off of my jobsites . I use a google free translater to get german free plans off of their forums but i pay for Ivans plans and balsa. joe

Status: offline 		I am working on a Fokker V11. And I have a Top Flite .60 size Mustang kit after that.
RCKen, I have put pull pull in the wings of both my DVII's and my V 11. It is not a big deal, and there is no slop from long cable runs. Just my 2 cents worth.

BTW, building season's all year round at this house. Flying season is whenever I finally make it out to the park field, a far 2 blocks away. I generally fly a build once, and then move on to the next one. I get in at least 6 flights a year this way. Still have around 5 models laying around that have not been flown yet, so I guess I could get 5 flights in, before this current build is finished.

Status: offline 		A nitroplanes 1/4 Tiger moth with a GN 180 4s. I will never get another plane from nitro planes again, the quality is OK but you better be an experienced builder because the instruction that come with the plane are crap.... First of all they are so fuzzy you can't read them and second of all if you are putting on the flying wires forget the instructions. I called the company to see if there were other instructions out there and I might as well been talking to the wall.....
NO MORE NITRO PLANES!!!

Status: offline 		This is actually the flying season down here, but I have two builds going on. I pulled my BUSA 1/6th scale Pup off the board in order to finish up my 4*60 which is near done as far as framing goes. It will be powered with a Magnum .91.

The B-25 will not only be my first warbird, but also, my first kit! Not quite sure how to go about things yet!

Status: offline 		Not really building but 1 plane, a Carden Extra 300s that I got in the bones a couple of years back. Going to redisign a few features of the airframe. Going to lighten the turtle deck and make the front hatch one piece. I have two more that I will be assembling . A TF 1/5 scale Mustang that I am putting together for my dad and a QQ Python that I got 2nd hand that needs a little TLC and will be ready to go. If I get all that done I will assemble a 27% Extra 260 with a BME 50 and Hitecs for servos. Dang I better get busy !

Status: offline 		We enjoy 362 days of great building & flying weather in this part of the country, subtropical Deep South Texas ( Rio Grande Valley ) We build all nite and Fly all day...lol This past year I've been adding to my fleet of CL airplanes with some interesting types.

Early 2012 I finished a total scratch built & super sized (Texas Size ??), RINGMASTER XXL (60 size) She came out at a svelt 63 ozs. that plane will almost pull yer arms off.. Next I built a "Fancherized" Sig TWISTER, covered the wings in polyester fabric from Wal Mart, the bird came out at 43 ozs, it's painted with Rustoleum..That paint rocks and I'm greatly impressed !! Then scratch built a Flite Streak, covered it in Monokote and she flys as good as the old original. Next off the bench was a total scratch designed and built Half 'A' semi-scale stunt British Spitfire, it's got a Big Mig .061 screamin' in the nose..it's a cutie & flies great !! Then gathered up the nerve to completely restore & recover my 53 year old TF Nobler...WOW, I can't believe the Ambroid glue was still holding hands.. The old girl looks a heck of a lot prettier now than when it did originally. Surprisingly, it came out 2 oz. lighter.

Took a 3 week break, flew and trimmed all the birds..all of them checked out in good order, I'm still fine tuning the Fancherized Twister, I like the way it turns outside corners. Updated and improved the control system on my trusty 2003 built Brodak profile stunt Cardinal, she has all ball bearing control rod ends now, it used to "hunt" a teensie bit, now she's a steady n' smooth flier 4 weeks ago I began building an old Estes-Sterling S-1A CL Ringmaster, covered that old gal in polyester fabric from Wal Mart and painted it in Rustoleum colors...ZOWIE..she's really light and almost too pretty to fly..But there ain't no hangar queens in my fleet !! Last week I started and completed in 5 days a total scratch built and slick looking "Wild Bill" Netzeband Doodlebug 580, it's got a 3 to 1 aspect ratio geodetic ribbed wing and a super huge horizontal stab, it's really wierd & odd looking. The plane is covered with super light polyester fabric from Wal Mart and barely tips the scales at 45 ozs...The Doodlebug looks like a Buck Roger's moon rocket with those crazy swept fins. I'm now mounting an engine and landing gear on a converted 2 meter Sig Riser glider to be used by my grand daughters to learn to fly RC, they're all excited !! I'm planning to start construction on another Super Duper Zilch soon 8D]

Status: offline 		Good to see soo many kits! It seems like it's almost a lost art these days.

Got my ESM FW190 back on the table. Re-doing the retracts with Wingspan's and putting all the e-gear back in it. It hauled really well with the P1.60 and 10S.

Still need to maiden my Swany's House Taco .25 scratch build. Power 25 on 3S.  Got a short kit of the same waitng for the first one to become unrepairable, lol!

Just finished an Xcopter (the HK X666), but need to learn to fly it.

Should be able to keep the thumbs in good shape, fingers crossed.

Status: offline 		Love them.  When I got in this hobby back in the mid 70's, I was told I couldn't fly P-51's, wing loading was too high and the tapered wings were prone to tip stalling.  and that started my passion.
WWII fighters are my passion.
