Status: offline 		A mess, and a good one at that! Nothing right now as I am in process of renovating an existing storage room into my new model room. Walls and ceiling are done, just need the lights, flooring and door installed. Hopefully in 2 weeks I will move in!

Same here. Most of the time I have 2 or 3 projects going at the same time. Right now I'm putting the finishing touches on an Ultra Sport 60 that's been on the board for a year and a half. I'm also working on a modified Senior Kadet for a friend. Next up is the re-covering of a Sig Spacewalker II that I just recently picked up a new engine for. An OS Gemini 160 Twin. Can't wait to get that one going. While I'm working on the Spacewalker I'll start a Sig Smith Miniplane kit. The Miniplane is a plane that I fell in love with back in the 90's long before I had the skill to fly it.
Like Fred L, my building season never ends. I love building kits and sometimes scratch building, I'm always on the lookout for a new kit.

Status: offline 		Building Season? For us, that is us folks on the Gulf Coast, our building season is when we crash one or need one. I do so like to come to this forum and see all the many projects. I have started building a Telemaster for a old friend. I have forgot the joy and happiness building can produce. Never mind the old debate about building and ARF.
My question to you guys is about kits. I have never built a Balsa USA kit for example. I wouldn't mind tackling one. I know nothing about them. I have built many others in my past. Goldberg, Sig, Great Planes, and others. I would like to build something. Not sure what. If I have learned one thing. That one thing is here on RCU there is many opinions. Most of them very good. Any of you that would care to give me one of your opinions would be appreciated. I have no locked in idea of what type of plane. I love them all.

1. Finish Tiger 60 (stick kit - Enya 61, cover and install radio)
2. Assemble HK Fournier electric ARF
3. Assemble electric Thunder Tiger eHawk 1500
4. Assemble electric HK FOX electric glider
5. 4 Star 40 (stick kit - Enya 53 powered)
6. Kondor T-28 (OS FR-300 powered)
7. Ziroli DC-3 (stick kit - Enya VT-240's)

There are others, but I won't get to them this year.

Status: offline 		I don't think you can go wrong with any of the BUSA kits. Last year I built two. The northstar makes a great waterplane if you keep it light weight. I also built one of their 1/4 scale sopwith pups and it has become my favorite airplane, easy to build and a joy to fly.

Also, try a ball link on the throttle arm. That will space the pushrod away from the engine, closer to the fuselage side.

Status: offline 		use a 2/56 rod and bend a u at the end (about 1" radius or so) the clevice is pointing back at the fire wall hook that to the carb. seems i had to do most my 4-strokes that way and it always worked good. gives ya room for the hardware and allows a little flex so ya dont bind up.

2. 30% super cub scratch build from Hostetler plans. Use scale three views to dress up outline ( windshield, rudder, fuse to front wing wire location ). Power with G-23 and home built reduction drive. 22-16 prop. Functional scratch built landing gear. Scratch built fowler type flap hinges.

3. Gary Allen 1/3 bucker Jungmeister scratch build. G-62 power with scratch built functional landing gear.

4. Vailly 92" Razorback Thunderbolt all wood scratch build. G-62 with scratch built reduction drive turning home built four blade ( first time for everything). Scratch built phenumatic retracts. Gabreski P-47D-11-RE HV-A 42-75510

Sure you figured out that this won't all get done in one winter. Need to build bedroom sets for the kids too before Christmas.
