For the past six years H*E*A*T Club has held a one-day "Fun Run" between Christmas and New Years. Since several out-of-state RC tankers have requested a bigger event that is worth traveling a long distance for, we have expanded the event to TWO FULL DAYS! This is now a NATIONWIDE end-of-year RC tank battle! Come on out and join the fun! - H*E*A*T RC Tank Club of NC/VA

The "DANVILLE WINTER CAMPAIGN"

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2012 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm,
and

SATURDAY DECEMBER 29, 2012 from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.

At the indoor RC battlefield in the AAF TANK MUSEUM, DANVILLE, VIRGINIA.

Standard event fees apply. (No Sunday event - so you can travel).

More details to follow. Please reply if you can join us.

Hope you can make it Bob! The whole idea of expanding the Winter event to 2 days was so that travelers like yourself and the NEAD guys would be more willing to make the trip. Sunday is open for the return trip. Please spread the word!

Tankers! Make plans to attend the 2-day event in Danville. It's the Friday and Saturday between Christmas and New Years. Hey, you can record those football games, (and escape the relatives!) There are 12 of us planning to come so far. Below are some photos from last year!

Thanks Jim. All I want to do is promote this hobby and share the fun that we all enjoy at the AAF Tank Museum. We are so lucky to have it. I hope you make it this weekend pal. We have missed you. I am heading down Thurday night with Scot. It is snowing very heavily here now but it should be over before we leave for VA.

Since I am comming down with bob, I started packing up for the trip......I made a little discovery.....I do not have a box big enough to bring the E-100.....she is not running yet but I thought I would bring her down for laughs.....

th the fenders installed she is about 5 inches wider than my m26......lol.....I think the use of bridges at danville may be an issue...
