I'm renovating my Cargo Trailer to a decent Plane Hauler, the Ceiling/Roof is slightly curved and I want to insulate it with some styro which will not be a problem, the trick is what do I use to cover the ceiling afterwards, the ceiling has metal ribs that I can easily screw the covering onto, I'm thinking some thin gauge aluminum or galvanized tin from a tin working shop that makes ducts, etc; I figure it can bend to match the curve, light weight, can be secured to the ribs with self tapping sheet metal screws, etc; any suggestions, or am I on the right track?

Thanks.

Would thin insulating panels be another option?  Flexible and would supplement the styro insulation.  It also might mitigate "hanger rash".

That's one type.  Other brands have a paper or thin cardboard surface, similar to the foamboard used for posters.

I used 3/4 inch foam board on my roof and then lined from the inside plastic panels from Lowes-they are white in color made of plastic in 4X8 sheets-same material as you would use in a not so fancy shower stall-cuts easily and screws with self tappers into the roof ribs-they have a 1 inch divider strip to join two panels at seam.

Are those Shower Stall Panels Flexable enough to curve a little bit, to follow the contour of the roof curvature?

Go to go homedepot And ask for FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic). Very flexible, use a good pair of shears to cut it. 1/4-1/2" foam board for insulation, then screw the FRP to ceiling ribs with self tapping 1" sheet rock screws.

Yes they are flexible-do your self a favor if your are in a cold environment-warm them up a little bit they become brittle when cold.
They will follow radius of the ceiling-
