I have almost finished my lyncoming dummy engine for my stearman for a saito 125 engine.

I am taken pics , hope post it tomorrow

Hey Jerry.  Looks great.  What did you use for the plug wires?  Almost looks like it is woven.

here is the beginning of dummy . I used the Dave Brawn wasp and I modify it to seems like the Lyncoming..

I made a wood suport plate with 3 layers ply round and carved for the engine.

The airplane used a Saito 100 but I have Saito 125 that is almost same size and I decided to use it .

The plane is an old stearman sterling kit

its some difficult the strong tighten in the fire wall, however some screws solve it.

In fact the last dummy engine was made in a saito 90 replying 7 cylinders made in pvc in a turn late and molding the cover valvles. The Dummy has a lot of work and looked nice, but was not scale

Some moths ago the stearman loos elevator servo and crashes. I began to rebuild it, and the most motivating to do this fixing was that I ordered the 1/6 dummy.

the airplane today is almost covered again

that's an excellent idea with the shoe strings, was wondering how to simulate that look when I built my radial. here is a pic of the stearmans engine in the video above
