Status: offline 		I've released a R/C flight simulator that's very much focussed on gliders (slope and thermal) for iOS and Android phones and tablets, so I thought people here might be interested. There's links to download, as well as more info, here:

I fly gliders myself, so have tried to make it as real as possible - not just in the aerodynamics, but also the wind/air flow including separation, turbulence and thermals.

It's free-with-optional-donation (Android) or so-cheap-it's-nearly-free (iOS) - the aim is mainly to cover costs so I can release it on Windows, and maybe OSX. Obviously being able to plug a R/C transmitter or gamepad in improves the realism hugely above using the touchscreen on phones/tablets, but even so I hope people find it enjoyable, and maybe it will even encourage a few to go out and fly for real
